Our History

Our company has a long, robust history of solving problems and delivering value to our clients, which began when our founder Mr. Louis Gonzalez, identified a need to build high performing computer system to address data processing requirements for the Federal government. Since then, TRI-COR Industries has earned a reputation for diligence, technical expertise, on-time performance, consistent cost controls, and ethical business practices. • Code of Support Foundation

TCI joins COSF to pay tribute to service members, veterans, and families

Alexandria, VA – TRI-COR Industries, Inc. (TCI) has teamed up with Alexandria-based Code of Support Foundation (COSF) to provide service and support to the men, women and families who sacrifice so much to keep our nation safe and strong. Read more

On March 9, 2107, TCI cosponsored the foundation’s annual “Toast to Our Troops” celebration held at the Association of the United States Army Event Center in Arlington, VA.

“TCI stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our active duty and reserve troops, our veterans, and their families. They have volunteered to serve us all and are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, so we can’t ever let them down,” said TCI CEO Elizabeth El-Nattar.

“COSF works to solve some of the most difficult and challenging problems, often with multiple causes. Whether providing caseworkers or building bridges to other military service organizations, the COSF is making an impact, and TCI is proud to assist,” said Ms. El-Nattar.

COSF provides one-on-one assistance to struggling service members, veterans and their families with their most complex needs. “While our nation’s warriors are overwhelmingly proud of their service, the burdens they and their families have been asked to bear are enormous.  While many service members and families successfully transition back into civilian life, hundreds of thousands are struggling every single day,” according to the COSF website.

  • Innovation and Excellence Award

TCI Named Winner of the Innovation & Excellence Award for the Specialist IT Services Category by Corporate Livewire 2017

Alexandria, VA – TRI-COR Industries, Inc. (TCI) is delighted to announce that it is a proud recipient of the 2017 Innovation & Excellence Award for Innovation in Specialist IT Services by Corporate LiveWire. Read more

The Innovation and Excellence Award recognizes winners for their innovative ideas, global involvement, products, services, and transformational visions within their global geographies and markets. The Innovation and Excellence Awards are sponsored by The International Business Innovation Association (InBIA), a global non-profit member network that serves a diverse group of 2,200+ entrepreneurship centers. InBIA helps guide, mentor and develop sustainable entrepreneurial programs in every industry and demographic around the globe.

The judging panel at Corporate LiveWire considered the strengths of each shortlisted candidate, selecting the most innovative, ground-breaking and client-focused firms, teams and individuals who have transformed the way in which they do business. Each winner was chosen on merit and has shown excellence, innovation and strong leadership throughout their various activities during the past calendar year.

Venkat Chayanam, TCI Chief Strategy and Technology Officer, made the following comment when notified of the award:

"This is a tremendous accomplishment for TCI and all the members of our team. Over the past two years, we have made a significant investment in R&D, with the establishment of a second Innovation Lab, the research and application of new technologies, the in-house design and development of new Mobile and Enterprise software products and focused efforts to extend and expand our service delivery portfolio in areas that are critical to the customers we serve. There has also been a healthy shift in our corporate culture to assign higher value to thought, leadership, innovation, transformation, and continuous improvement. Consequently, I think we are better positioned to deliver value-added, low risk and creative solutions to our customers.”

Carroll James Harris, TCI’s Chief Administrative Officer added: “To win an award like this for Innovation & Excellence is a very nice external indicator that we are on the right path in terms of our corporate strategy and development. I would like to congratulate all the members of the TCI team - this award says great things about the organization we are building together."
