TRI-COR monitors and troubleshoots complex network problems using state-of-the-art equipment providing in-depth reports of problem cause and resolution. We provide technical assistance in the installation, configuration, maintenance and trouble isolation of copper and fiber optic wiring plants, and Ethernet and FDDI network devices. TRI-COR provides technical support in all phases of LAN security and administration as well as technical assistance and Assistant System Administration support in the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Headquarters Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) equipment. TRI-COR maintains, installs, or replaces copper and fiber optic wiring in according with local network standards as necessary to maintain the LAN. Our team assists in the configuration, installation and maintenance of LAN devices such as networking bridges, intelligent wiring hubs, terminal servers, Network Control servers, Communications Protocol Translators, Ethernet Switches, Fiber Distributed Data Interface Concentrators, and Network Management Stations. The TRI-COR team updates and maintains a local network database to provide current information on all nodes connecting to the LAN and an inventory of all network devices. The team also updates and maintains the Support Magic database to open, update, forward, or close trouble calls after action.
