Contract Information.  The GSA IT MAS Contract is specifically structured to provide Federal agency customers with a highly flexible tool for contracting for IT support services. As the Federal contracting environment has evolved, GSA has modified MAS capabilities and requirements to ensure the vehicle remains a highly effective tool for Federal agency customers.

TRI-COR’s GSA IT MAS Contract includes Special Item Numbers (SIN) 132-12 for Hardware Maintenance and Repair, 132-33 for Perpetual Software Licenses, 132-34 for Maintenance of Software, and 132-51 for Professional IT Services.  The basis for ordering and performing tasks under this contract is the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 8. The contract imposes no hard ceiling order limits on task orders and does not include FASA "Best Opportunity to be Considered" requirements. Instead, adequate competition is ensured by suggesting that customers view the schedule prices of at least three contractors (available for review on line) for the work they are contemplating. The customer can select the contractor based on a "best value" determination.  Individual task orders placed with the contractor may be structured as either fixed price or fixed price labor hour vehicles depending on customer specific requirements.  Customers wishing to establish a method for satisfying recurring needs may do so using a blanket purchase agreement (BPA). As is the case with other GSA orders, no hard ceiling limitation applies to orders placed under BPAs. Customers may order as little or as much as they wish under BPA arrangements, or may structure the BPA to manage regional or satellite office ordering.

How to Implement Service.  TRI-COR’s GSA IT MAS Contract is a simple, quick way to order IT services tailored specifically to your needs. GSA has streamlined the ordering processes to allow Federal agencies to work directly with contractors in structuring work assignments according to their specific needs. Agency customers place their orders directly with TRI-COR using this schedule. You can use written orders or place orders via GSA’s electronic data interchange mechanism: GSA Advantage!  Electronic orders can be paid using GSA accounts or government commercial credit cards. Customers also can establish blanket purchase orders, or use purchase orders or task orders to obtain IT services or hardware maintenance support under this contract. GSA has removed the requirement for agency customers to synopsize and publish notices for orders of over $50,000 for GSA IT Services contracts, and has incorporated a new micro-order process for orders of less than $2,500. TRI-COR’s authorized IT Services Schedule Pricelist is available in electronic form via the GSA Advantage! program or directly from TRI-COR.
