The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, marketing, capturing, and securing IT-related programs within the Federal Government market, and will work closely with field Services Directors in prospecting and identifying new business opportunities that are in line with TRI-COR’s core competencies. This position would be located in Lanham, MD at our Corporate Headquarters. Education/ Requirements: • Market knowledge in at areas such as: systems engineering, systems operations, network connectivity, client/server environments, software applications, and enterprise data services. • Knowledge of Federal procurement regulations. • Ability to analyze opportunities and appropriately assess the value and the ability to analyze solicitations and appropriately define resource requirements and budgets. • Ability to analyze opportunities, requirements and bid evaluation criteria to develop the most effective strategies. • Ability to perform mathematical/financial analysis and analyze the quality of all work performed and the completed proposal. • Ability to contribute to the improvement of TRI-COR’s competitive positioning. • Bachelor's degree is preferred. • Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and the Internet. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, listening, and interpersonal skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Ability to work effectively and perform multiple tasks under pressure.
